Pre-insulated piping system for CENTRALIZED DISTRICT HEATING

Now-a-days more and more attention is paid worldwide to economic features of heat production and distribution as well as to positive effect of higher energy efficiency on the environment.

As a Bulgarian manufacturer of pre-insulated pipes and fittings AVKO has always kept a close eye on tendencies in both customers’ demands and new technological development in our field. This has allowed us to offer our clients a full range services including design, production and delivery of all components necessary for the construction of a hot water carrying pipeline.
Our standard products comprise of steel carrier pipe, HDPE casing pipe with inner surface treated with “Corona effect’ procedure and insulation layer of polyurethane with heat conductivity less than 0,027 W/mK.
The district heating pipelines are constructed using straight pipes, fittings and accessories, regulated by the base standard EN 253 and the related standards EN 448, EN 488, EN 489. The pipelines are directly buried into the ground or are installed above ground. In the latter case the polyethylene casing is replaced with spirally wound galvanized steel sheet due to the specific working conditions above ground.
