Raw materials

Carrier steel pipe is manufactured acc.:

- EN 10216-2 or another equivalent norm regarding seamless pipes, steel grade P235GH .

- EN 10217-1 another equivalent norm regarding longitudinally welded pipes, steel grade P235TR1/TR2

- EN 10217-2 another equivalent norm regarding longitudinally welded pipes, steel grade P235GH

- EN 10217-5 another equivalent norm regarding spirally welded pipes, steel grade P235GH

- EN 10220 – steel pipes sizes

Pipe ends are bevelled in order to facilitate welding acc. ISO 6761.

During production, the quality of the welding seam is monitored constantly visually and through non-destructive testing. Finished pipes are subjected to hydro-static testing at 80 bar per 5 sec.

HDPE Casing pipe

Otside casing pipe is manufactured from high-density polyethilene with added antioxidants, UV stabilizers and carbon black.

Internal surface of PE pipes is processed with Corona treatment in order to achieve better adhesion with PUR foam.

Polyurethane system

AVKO jsc is using polyurethane system with foaming agent cyclopentane. The resulting PUR foam is characterized with very low heat conductivity coefficient  < 0,027 W/mK.
