DILATATION PADS

Dilatation pads are installed in those areas along the pre-insulated pipelines, where due to temperature variations, some of the components of the line might move – i.e. elbows and t-pieces. Determination of pad number and their position along the pipeline is specified in our Calculation methods for district heating pipelines. The pads are being wrapped around the PE pipe and their position is fixed with reinforced duct tape.

The pads are produced from elastic, aging proof material. The pads are usually delivered with size 1000х2000х50 mm but different sizes can be delivered on request.
